You’ll first fill out a form on Alleviant’s website, and within 24-48 hours, an intake coordinator will reach out to book an appointment.
At the clinic—which is designed similarly to a spa—you’ll relax in a comfortable chair in a dedicated room while a staff member administers controlled sub-anesthetic doses of ketamine through an IV. You’ll be under constant medical supervision throughout the infusions, most of which last around an hour.
Some patients may require maintenance infusions. According to Alleviant, the national standard for treating mood disorders with ketamine infusions is for patients to complete six (6) to ten (10) infusions over the course of several weeks.
